HGUC 1/144 Gundam GP02A (Type-MLRS)

Build a heavily armed variation of the RX-78GP02A Gundam GP02A with the HGUC 1/144 Gundam GP02A (MLRS Type) from Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory.
This version of the GP02A replaces the standard Atomic Bazooka loadout with a Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) mounted on the backpack, giving the mobile suit a very different heavy-firepower configuration. The MLRS consists of two triple-launcher units, for a total of six rocket tubes, and the launcher covers can be opened individually for display.
The kit also includes a newly designed Beam Bazooka in place of the standard version’s Atomic Bazooka. The Beam Bazooka can be separated into sections and posed in its firing configuration, adding another distinctive weapon option to the GP02A’s already imposing silhouette.
The base mobile suit retains the GP02A’s massive shoulder binders, heavy armour, large shield, and characteristic proportions. Its bulky design gives the completed model a particularly strong shelf presence, while the MLRS equipment further emphasizes the machine’s long-range firepower role.
With its unique backpack system and Beam Bazooka, the MLRS version offers a noticeably different display option from the standard HGUC GP02A and is especially appealing to collectors of Gundam 0083 and alternate GP-series configurations.
