Build a detailed take on the original Gundam with the HG 1/144 RX-78-02 Gundam (Gundam The Origin Ver.) from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin.
Piloted by Amuro Ray, the RX-78-02 is the Earth Federation’s prototype mobile suit at the heart of The Origin’s retelling of the One Year War. Its familiar white, blue, red, and yellow armour is paired with a mechanical appearance and equipment that reflects the Gundam’s development during the conflict.
This High Grade kit offers selectable parts for the early and middle configurations. The early version features asymmetrical chest and forearm equipment, while the middle version uses matching parts for a more balanced appearance. Alternative shoulder parts provide further options when choosing your preferred configuration.
Included equipment comprises early- and middle-type Beam Rifles, two Beam Sabers, a Shield, a Hyper Bazooka, and a Shoulder Cannon. Movable calf thruster covers and articulated toes add detail and posing possibilities, while weapon mounting points on the waist and shield offer storage options.
With its sharp surface details and varied equipment, this kit is well suited to panel lining and careful finishing. Assembly required.
Recommended for:
Amuro Ray and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin fans, Universal Century collectors, and builders who enjoy detailed 1/144 kits with alternative configurations and a broad selection of weapons.
