Create realistic dust, dirt, and mud effects with the Tamiya Weathering Master Set A, a convenient three-colour weathering palette designed for plastic models, Gunpla, military kits, vehicles, dioramas, and other hobby projects.
The set includes Sand, Light Sand, and Mud, giving builders a practical range of earth tones for adding natural-looking weathering to lower legs, feet, armour edges, vehicle undersides, tracks, wheels, and other areas where dust and soil would naturally collect. Tamiya specifically recommends Sand and Light Sand for dust effects, while Mud is suited to heavier dirt buildup around vehicle running gear and similar surfaces.
The colours use Tamiya’s semi-wet weathering compound, which is easy to pick up and blend directly on the model. The included dual-ended applicator features a brush on one end and a sponge on the other, allowing builders to create everything from subtle edge shading to broader dirt and surface effects.
Because the colours can be built up gradually, the set works well for both light weathering and more pronounced battlefield or environmental effects. It is also useful for refining already completed models without the setup required for an airbrush.
